Thomas E. ''Jumbo'' Ashbaugh Jr., 51, of Washington PA, died Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Born in North Charleroi on October 30, 1968, he was the son of the late Catherine M. (Painter) and Thomas E. Ashbaugh Sr.
Jumbo worked for Chemply in Bunola and Balcon Enterprises in Washington. He was a lifetime member of the Monessen Hilltop VFD 81-2 and enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas Shirley; daughters, Bobbi Jo (Nicholas) Deems and Destiny Leonard, all of Washington; grandchildren, Melia, Ellie and D'Nya; his lifetime companion, Jackie Shirley of Washington; sisters, Angie Bradshaw of Donora, Lou Ann Kokoska of Monessen and Helen Mae Ferencz of Belle Vernon; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Kelly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Painter and sister, Melinda Ashbaugh.
Friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held at 8 p.m. following the visitation.
