Glenn W. Stickel, 91, of Belle Vernon, died Friday, June 19, 2026. Born in Connellsville on September 6, 1934, he was the son of the late Harry and Katherine Madeline (Cable) Stickel.

Glenn worked as a switchman for Bell Telephone Company for over 30 years before retiring in 1992. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959. He was a Scoutmaster for many years with his 3 sons. Glenn was an avid jigsaw puzzle builder. He had many interests, including bowling, line dancing, playing cards, collecting coins and fishing. He loved the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, and he especially loved traveling to visit his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Glenn D. (Colletta) Stickel of Pittsburgh, Gary A. Stickel of Stafford, VA, Brian L. (Michelle) Stickel of Kissimmee, FL and Dianne R. (Gregg) Ruhl of Amherst, NY; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Stickel and Kenneth Stickel; and sister, Joan Hoffman.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com Additional viewing will take place on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Henry Frain officiating.
